Acro Engineering has 2-axis CNC and full 3D contouring 3-axis CNC capabilities in our vertical machining centers. We are soon expanding into 4- and 5-axis machining. The images here show a few of examples of our work. We have the capability to machine tool steels in the hardened state ("hard turning" or "hard machining"). High precision, tight tolerance parts are our specialty. The large "donut" part is actually 62Rc Tool steel in the hard state. This can be a good and economical alternative to sinker-type EDM machining.

Our lineup of CNC machines also includes CNC lathes. We have a lot of experience in "hard turning" hardened tool steel shafts with very smooth finishes. This can be an economical alternative to grinding.
